Best Services Int’l Freight Canada Ltd., the BSI Canada, is a subsidy company of the Gotofreight group, which headquarter is in Shenzhen, China. The Gotofreight group has over 20 years history in freight forwarding industry with about 1,500 staff worldwide.
We are looking for a Business Development Manager at our Canada branch. The work location will be Mississauga, Ontario. The candidate should have strong interpersonal and leadership skills, and an ambitious heart to achieve success.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for business development in assigned airfreight market, achieve sales budget and complete freight charge collection.
Engage with potential customers and build up networks
Identify client’s needs and present new services and promoting existing services to new and existing customers
Create business lead through contact potential clients by cold calls, emails and onsite visits
Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities, present company products to potential clients
Analyze market trends and industrial needs, and communicate rates and action plans with customer and management team
Increase customer satisfaction by adapting products and improving service level
Prepare sales proposals, implement sales presentations, create and adopt marketing materials
Build long-term trusting relationships with clients and proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
Setup budgets and sales targes, report weekly activities pipeline to the branch manager aimed for sales results
Setup terms and credits with new customers, and collect payment as agreed terms
Perform other sales related tasks assigned by the management
Qualifications:
ü Minimum 5-year cargo sales experience in freight forwarding industry
ü Proven record of achieving sales targes
ü Bachelors degree in business or related field or equivalent experience required
ü Operational background is preferred
ü Proficient in Microsoft office software, including outlook, word, excel, PowerPoint, etc.
ü Have the can-do spirit and being a team player
ü Fluent English, and any other language skills are an asset
ü Valid driving license
Note: Occasionally overnight communications, meetings, and trainings might be needed because of time-zone difference with the headquarter
