This position is responsible for a variety of quality assurance and control functions including:
Releasing raw materials and finished goods
Collection and preparation of laboratory test samples
To support daily manufacturing goals by managing an in-process and inspection process
Review quality data (internal and external) and drive feedback to senior management team by establishing an effective improvement plan for defects prevention
Updating product summary specification sheets
Participating in quality audits
Investigating, coordinate and support customer related inspection activities, non-conformances and audit finding results
Initiating exception reports
Assist in training functions
Contributing to the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System, maintain and update QA certifications/records.
Provide QA support and guidance to all departments
Oversee, monitor and supervise production processes

To be successful, you will have:
Relevant tertiary qualification
Minimum 3 years of QA experience within the beverage processing, manufacturing or food industry (water bottling experience a bonus)
An understanding of GMP, HACCP, Halal, MPI and overseas market notices and standards
Previous experience with sensory assessments
Pathogen management experience
Well developed problem-solving ability and initiative
Good communication skills and influencing skills
Ability to lead projects and meet deadlines while fulfilling daily duties
The ability to be agile, adaptable and work at pace
